Introduction
The Directorate of Industrial and Intellectual Property (DIIP) aims at ensuring Industrial and Intellectual Property legislation implementation by entities subject to the said law, in compliance with inspection procedures. It checks the implementation of criteria and conditions by entities exercising industrial and intellectual activities, in compliance with the said law provisions, its applicable sub-legal acts and other legal acts in force.
Industrial Property Sector
- Inspection of structures carrying out industrial property activities based on the projected annual plan in cooperation with other inspection structures.
- Risk management of services falling under SIMS responsibility
- It addresses complaints against entities exercising industrial property activities, filed directly or forwarded by any other institution or individual, and makes a decision.
Copyright Sector
- Inspection of structures carrying out activities in the field of copyright and other related rights based on the projected annual plan in cooperation with other inspection structures.
- Risk management of services falling under SIMS responsibility;
- It addresses complaints against entities exercising intellectual property activities, filed directly or forwarded by any other institution or individual, and makes a decision.
